I'm lucky to be a filmmaker

Been feeling nostalgic recently.

I reckon, like the rest of the planet, I'm just a tad tired of this year and want to see my friends and family again.

I'm lucky to be a filmmaker and have films like this to remind me how wonderful life can be when things become 'normal' again.

This is a project which started as a travel film but progressed into a love letter to my friends and my favourite city in the world – portraying the times we had and how lucky we were to find each other. It's one of the best things I've ever created, for that reason.

This film took me around 18 months to make, and every time I'd refer to it, because it didn't have a name, I'd call it 'the Edinburgh film'. What was suppose...
