Our Pitch to Publish service means we do almost everything, from pre-production to the post-production of a film, and we’ll do it in the most cost-effective way. If Ella herself can’t be there on a shoot, we have a roster of videographers at hand, worldwide. We believe in getting the best local talent. Why? Because it saves on travel expenses, leaving more in the budget to make the best films possible. We’ve been doing it like this for years and it has only ever ended in success for us and the client.

With 12+ years experience making films in their entirety from pitch to publish, the quality of the films made by Howlett Film will be top-notch, as well as having a reasonable turnaround time. These films range from short-form 60 second promos to 10+ minute documentaries.

All we need to get started is an idea of what film you have in mind.

Our Concept & Direction service means we can take an idea, brief or script from you, and collaborate with you to create the film you have imagined. A multi-award winning director, Ella herself has many years of experience in directing people both in front of and behind the camera.

We also maintain a list of reliable, talented freelancers in every discipline, should you need help with production.

Editing is our forte and (aside from pitch to publish filmmaking) the role we are hired for the most. To date, we have edited 750+ films, ranging from social media marketing content to feature length documentaries.

Rest assured – by giving Howlett Film the script/brief and footage to a project, your film is in good hands. Edits can include the whole post-production process – motion graphics, sound design and colour grading.
